The beta build of the Telegram messenger recently saw the light of day and got a few handy features. The main innovations are the ability to show the device screen to the interlocutor, speed up video and clear message history for a longer period.
Test version 7.9.0 acquired the option to change the speed of video playback. There are five acceleration parameters in total: 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x and 2x. At the same time, the user will be able to continue scrolling messages in the chat while watching the video by removing the player window to the most convenient area of the screen.
For private video calls, the function of broadcasting the display to the interlocutor has been implemented. To activate it, you need to go to the item "Smartphone screen". This feature is still undergoing tests, therefore it is available on a limited number of gadgets.
