Android 12 will get more features to protect data
The new version of Android will be released in the near future. The update will provide more options for users in terms of privacy.

Privacy panel

The most interesting feature of Android 12 is the Privacy Dashboard. With its help, the owner of the device will be able to control the access of applications to various types of data. You can open the tool in the settings on the "Privacy" tab.

When moving the user's gaze, a pie chart will appear with the display of the most requested permissions for the last 24 hours. The most important ones are shown first: camera, geographic location and microphone. Other requests are listed in the "Other" tab.

The privacy panel will give all information about any program on the device that has requested permissions. Thus, the user will be able to control data requests and, if necessary, prohibit suspicious utilities from receiving confidential information.

Sensor Access Control

Android 12 will get additional indicators at the top of the display. So, for example, if the device is recording audio or video, then the user will see an icon of the corresponding color.

The owner of a smartphone or tablet will also be able to find out which applications have access to the camera and other sensors. To do this, he needs to make a swipe from top to bottom, and the icon will turn into an extended menu, where information about all requested permissions will be indicated.

Sensors can also be controlled from the notification curtain, where there are two switches that turn on the camera and microphone. When you activate the keys, none of the utility will be limited to recording audio or video.

Other interesting features of the new OS are the new Material You design, additional gestures, long screenshots and gaming options. The final version is expected to be released next month.
