The Korean manufacturer presented its new Pro Plus and EVO Plus series memory cards in microSD and SD formats. The solutions are intended primarily for photography enthusiasts and other content makers, as they are distinguished by increased reliability and impressive media transfer speed.

The Pro Plus microSD and SD flash models offer transfer rates up to 160 and 120 MB/s. For EVO Plus, this figure is 130 MB/s, which makes the cards 1.3 times faster than the previous generation. All versions will be protected from moisture, critical temperature indicators, X-ray and electromagnetic radiation, drops and mechanical wear. SD cards will also be protected from mechanical shock.



The microSD Pro Plus card models will come with storage capacities of 128, 256 and 512 GB. EVO Plus will be available in four variants ranging from 64GB to 512GB. The price tag of the cheapest option will be €17 for the younger version of EVO Plus, the highest price will be asked for the Pro Plus with 512 GB - €156.

SD cards will be available in sizes 32-512 GB. The most budgetary EVO Plus will cost €11, while the most expensive 512GB Pro Plus will have to fork out for 140 European currency units.
