The NotebookChech portal has published the benchmarks of the flagship chipset for laptops Intel Core i7-12700H, which were diagnosed in the Cinebench Release 20 and Release 23 programs.
The processor from Intel has fourteen cores (high-performance and energy-efficient in the amount of 6 + 8, respectively), twenty-thread execution, 24 megabytes of L3 cache, memory control with DDR4-3200 / LPDDR4-4266 and DDR5-4800 / LPDDR5X-5200. The TDP of the chipset is at around 45 watts.
As a result, in the first benchmark, the chipset earned 689 and 7158 points in single-core and multi-core modes. Multi-threaded performance in Cinebench Release 23 showed 18501 points. In comparison, the MacBook Pro with M1 Max and 32 graphics cores scored 12385 points in this test.
The chip from Intel also outperformed the 8-core flagship Ryzen 9 5900HX from AMD with sixteen threads and a maximum frequency of 4.6 GHz. True, the Ryzen 6000 line of processors should be considered a direct opponent in the market for the new generation Intel Core i7, but they have yet to be released next year.
