The Steam Store will now allow you to see the size of games before they start downloading
The Steam platform is waiting for several updates. One of them will be the ability to see the size of the game on its page before the download starts.
Previously, players had to press the "Install" button to estimate the amount of storage space the game would take up and the approximate installation time. So far, the innovation is at the beta test stage. It will be released to the public in the future.
In September 2021, Valve made improvements to the Store Downloads page to make it more informative. For example, an improved storage management section has been added to the page. In addition, the display of detailed information about the status of the download and installation was added. Prior to this, a new Steam library was launched on the platform.
Among other interesting Steam news, it is also worth highlighting the imminent release of the Steam Deck portable game console.
