Russian bloggers have lost up to 80% of their income due to blocking of social networks, the outflow of advertisers and audience, business stoppages and marketing activities of foreign companies in the Russian Federation.

According to Brand Analytics, between February 24 and April 6, more than half of Russian content authors left Instagram (a product of Meta, a recognized extremist organization in the Russian Federation), even despite the fact that for the most part the audience uses the social network through a VPN. After the blocking, bloggers asked their subscribers to actively subscribe to pages on VK and Telegram channels. According to experts, the audience most loyal to content makers, that is, no more than 7% of the total volume of users, moved to these sites.
