The update brought an upgraded timer setting for enabling and disabling alerts. Also, in the settings, you can now turn off only the sound of notifications, while the user will be notified in the previous silent mode without archiving the chat.
The changes also affected the automatic deletion of correspondence - the user will now need to perform fewer actions than before. The deletion timer settings have also been improved with more deletion time options.
The answer function has been improved. In the new messenger build, you can quickly navigate to the original message when sending a reply to other chats. You can also forward messages in such a way as to preserve the anonymity of the author of the message. There was also the possibility of cleaning posts with pictures or files from inscriptions.
An important innovation was the new skills of bots that have acquired jаvascript support. For a visual demonstration, the developers launched the @DurgerKingBot bot, which allows you to order a virtual lunch. Other improvements to bots include receiving information about the color scheme of the interface and changing the theme, instantly adjusting to day or night modes.
Bots-administrators were not left without improvements. Now the user will be able to easily add bots to channels and, without leaving his profile, configure their rights and permissions. You can add bots to channels as admins, and to groups as admins of any member.
For the iOS platform, the developers have added the ability to translate from an extended list of languages, and on Android they have updated the picture-in-picture mode, which makes it possible to resize the window. Minor improvements include new emoticons and improved animation for changing the phone number.
