The feature was discovered by Reddit user u/Leopeva64-2. It was added to the Chrome Canary 110 preview build. To activate it, you need to write the chrome://flags/#customize-chrome-color-extraction command. Next, the browser interface will take on a predominant hue depending on the wallpaper preset on the app's start page.

Also, the user will be able to add more colorful elements to the new tab page. To do this, you need to go through the chrome://flags/#ntp-comprehensive-theming command. Curiously, Material You is already available in the mobile version of Chrome.

The stable version of Chrome 110 should be released on February 7th. This update will be the last for Windows 7 and 8.1.
