Apple Store Awards 2022 winners announced

Apple has announced the list of winners of the annual award for developers of mobile games and applications. For each separate category of apple brand devices (smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, laptops and set-top boxes), one project was selected



Nomination "Application of the Year":
• iPhone: BeReal photo sharing software
• iPad: GoodNotes 5 note-taking app
• Mac: MacFamilyTree 10 gene pool application
• Apple TV: emulator VIX: Cine y TV en Espanol
• Apple Watch: Gentler Streak fitness tracker



Nomination "Game of the Year":
• iPhone: Apex Legends Mobile - dynamic action in the format of "royal battle"
• iPad: logic game Moncage
• Mac: Inscryption roguelike collectible card game
• Apple TV: El Hijo - an exciting indie strategy game in the setting of the Wild West
• Apple Arcade Game: Wylde Flowers - farming simulator with fantasy elements
• China Game: League of Legends Esports Manager is a strategic esports-themed simulator.



Nomination "Contribution to culture"

Separately, the editorial department of the App Store marketplace identified five programs that could have a significant impact on users' lives and culture. The category includes the following applications:
• How We Feel - global association to combat the spread of coronavirus
• Dot's Home is a casual indie visual novel game
• Locket Widget Waterllama - a widget that displays live photos of the user's friends right on the main screen
• Water Tracker - a program for tracking the daily rate of water consumption
• Inua - A Story in Ice and Time - an adventure quest that invites the player to begin to study the events of history through the prism of stories and legends of such an ethnic group as the Inuit.
