The five basic desktop chips of the Raptor Lake line, which do not have overclocking capabilities, will be significantly superior to their predecessors. Previously, "overlocker" models with the letter K in the title were also presented.

Core i9-13900, Core i7-13700, Core i5-13600, Core i5-13500 and Core i5-13400 processors took part in the Cinebench benchmark tests. They haven't been officially announced yet. In single-threaded mode, all chips showed a not too big performance increase compared to the previous generation models. However, in multi-threaded mode, the increase turned out to be much more tangible.

Intel Core i9-13900 (24 cores, 32 threads, frequency limit 5.8 GHz, 68 MB cache) outperformed Core i9-12900 by 53%. Core i7-13700 (16 cores, 24 threads, 5.2 GHz, 54 MB cache) showed a 34% increase. The Core i5-13600 and i5-13500 (both 14 cores, 20 threads) outperformed their predecessors by 59% and 64%. Finally, the Core i5-13400 (10 cores, 16 threads) scored 28% more than the 12th generation model.

All of the above processors should go on sale in the first week of January next year as part of Intel B760 motherboards.
