Sony is on top. Named the best publishers of 2022 according to Metacritic

The rating aggregator portal has released a list of the most successful game publishers for the past year. The list was formed on the basis of the average ratings of released games.



In total, 45 publishers made it to the top. Sony is in first place, Paradox is second, and Activision Blizzard is in bronze. Of the curious positions, it is worth highlighting the 12th place of Nintendo, the 17th place of EA and the thirty-eighth line of Ubisoft.

Interestingly, the list did not include Microsoft. Probably, she released insufficient attention to the number of titles to get into the top.
