Co-founder and former producer of Rockstar founded a new studio

GTA and Red Dead Redemption writer Dan Houser, who left Rockstar a few years ago, has opened a new studio. The company will develop not only one video game.

Absurd Ventures will work on scripts for video games, movies, books, comics and other media products. The press release says that the company will create narrative universes, create characters and plots of various genres. At the same time, the studio will not directly develop games.



Dan Houser will take up the craft he does best - screenwriting. Almost all parts of GTA and the Red Dead Redemption series owe him plots and characters.
