Teen who leaked GTA 6 files declared insane
According to the authoritative publication Reuters, a London court charged the young man with 12 counts. The hacker turned out to be an eighteen-year-old teenager, Arion Courtage. He was a member of the Lapsus hacker group.
According to representatives of the prosecution, Kurtage used blackmail to employees of Rockstar Games, trying to extort money from them in return for the fact that he would not merge GTA 6. As a result, the materials still got on the Internet.
In addition to Rockstar, the attacker also blackmailed other companies, including Uber, Revolut, BT Group, and NVIDIA. In all cases, he extorted money.
In total, the teenager was charged with 12 counts: 3 counts for blackmail, 2 counts of fraud, 6 counts for the misuse of PC legislation. Courtage pleaded guilty to several of these crimes, but he would not be sentenced because the young man was deemed inadequate. So he will not take part in the court.
