The developers will allow you to disable video hosting recommendation algorithms in a radical way.

The hosting blog reports that YouTube will be able to completely disable recommendation algorithms for users who have their browsing history disabled in their Google account settings. Thus, when entering YouTube, the user will see only the search bar and the guide menu on the left side of the screen. To get recommendations back, you'll need to turn your browsing history back on.



The function will become fully operational within the next few months, now everything looks the same in video hosting as before. The developers claim that the innovation will allow users to make it easier to find content that is really interesting for themselves.
