The police and the FBI identified the attacker.
21-year-old Georgia resident Keyshawn Omar Cooper was sent to federal prison for 200 months after playing GTA Online. The criminal posed as a young girl and forced underage users to send him indecent photos and videos.
The crime came to light after the mother of one of the players realized what was happening and reported it to the Missouri police, who, in turn, sent a request to the FBI for help in identifying Cooper. After his arrest, photographs and videos of other children were found on the criminal’s smartphone.
In addition to serving 16 years in prison, Cooper was given a $3,000 fine and 15 years of probation. The criminal himself admitted his guilt.
