Recreating the environment for players was a challenge as development took place during the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the authors relied on data from Google Maps, the Brooklyn History Center, the Reddit portal and other sources.
It is noteworthy that the Chrysler Building will not appear in the game, since the studio did not agree with the new owners of the building on copyright. The skyscraper was present in the first part of the series, but it was no longer present in the spin-off about Miles Morales.
