Dead Island 2 will receive an addition with a tower defense mode

The Neighborhood Watch mode will be based on the principles of tower defense games.

According to insider Tom Henderson, in the expansion three players will need to defend the shelter. Over the course of five days, gamers will fight off waves of zombies, and with each new wave the difficulty will increase. Weapons, traps, and the walls of the house themselves will be used to stop opponents. The resources necessary for defense must be obtained by completing tasks.

Neighborhood Watch may be added in the first announced addition, Haus, which will be released before the end of the year.
