Microsoft and Mojang shared information about how many copies of Minecraft have been sold over its 15-year history. The press release indicated a figure of 300 million copies. For comparison, for GTA V this figure is at around 185 million.
The developers released an infographic showing that every day in the game 15 million skeletons are killed, 8.8 million pickaxes are produced, 400 thousand wolves are raised, 915 km are driven on a pig, 700 thousand cakes are baked and 6.7 million diamonds are mined.
