The new feature is called Driver Drowsiness Alert.
The vehicle will detect driver fatigue using a built-in video camera. A specialized algorithm will analyze the driver's face, monitor the frequency of yawns and blinks, and evaluate overall behavior and facial expression. If the electric car suspects something is wrong, the system will emit a warning sound and display the behavior on the display.
The algorithm will work at speeds of more than 60 km/h when controlled manually without using the autopilot. If the driver reduces speed when an alarm occurs, the warning will turn off. The driver will be able to turn off the system in the “Control/Safety” menu, but it will only be turned off for the duration of the current trip - then it will still be activated automatically.
