The project is being created jointly by CD Projekt RED and Go On Board. The necessary funds for development were collected incredibly quickly.

The announcement of the game took place a month ago, but the authors did not immediately start a page on the Gamefound crowdfunding platform. The creators planned to raise $75 thousand. After the game page appeared on the site, the required amount was collected in 4 minutes 37 seconds, which is undoubtedly a success. At the moment, fans have already donated almost $1.7 million, which is 22 times more than the required amount. At the same time, the crowdfunding campaign will last another 18 days, so the amount will become even larger.

The board game The Witcher: Path of Destiny will be a sequel to The Witcher: Old World. Players will be able to take control of the main characters of the saga (Geralt, Yennefer, Vesemir, Ciri, Dandelion, Triss). The game will be a great addition to books, games and TV series.
