EA may release a free-to-play Battlefield similar to Call of Duty: Warzone

Well-known informant and journalist Tom Henderson said that Electronic Arts is preparing to release a new part of Battlefield. Interestingly, this will be a free-to-play shooter similar to Call of Duty: Warzone. It will have two modes: classic battle royale and Gauntlet, in which players will complete various objectives and receive points for doing so. It is also reported that Ripple Effect studio is working on this game.

It is also known that EA is developing several more games in the Battlefield series. The main title will have to bring back 64-player matches with four unit classes and reworked destructibility. The game won't be released until 2025.
