Four devices were launched to an altitude of 30 thousand kilometers from different launch sites in the United States. A total of 150 images were taken, from which Samsung selected a few of the most impressive.
Smartphones were launched into the stratosphere using stratospheric balloons - high-altitude balloons that are filled with hydrogen. The gadgets were attached to the aircraft using carbon fiber holders.
The photographs were taken with standard 200 megapixel modules, as well as ultra-wide-angle and periscope lenses. After the photo shoot, all four smartphones returned back to Earth.
