Capcom said that the RE4 remake has broken the mark of 7 million copies sold. This result was achieved in less than a year from the release of the action-horror film. In total, the game series has sold 154 million times.
The remake was released on March 24 last year on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series. The press greeted the re-release extremely positively. In December, a port was released for iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPad and Mac.
