An insider spoke about the parties to the conflict in the new Battlefield

Reputable industry tipster Tom Henderson took to his social media to share information about who will be fighting whom in the upcoming Battlefield game. According to him, one of the parties to the conflict will be NATO forces, while some large private military company will oppose them. The events of the shooter will take place in the foreseeable future - in 2025-30.



Previously, an insider reported that the project will be a sequel to Battlefield 4. Operators from different countries will be available in the game. The gameplay won't see much innovation as Electronic Arts doesn't want to take risks.



The development of the new part is the responsibility of the studio Criterion Games, which became famous thanks to the racing franchises Burnout and NFS. The company also took part in the creation of Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 2042. The release of the shooter, according to Henderson, may take place at the end of 2025, but Electronic Arts is quite capable of moving it to 2026 in order to exclude competition with other major titles coming out at the same time , and improve the quality of the final product.
