The announcement of the second part of the cult logic game took place at The Game Awards in December 2023.
The sequel was originally scheduled to release on May 23, but the game was recently pushed back to August 2. The title is still being developed for PC (via EGS) and Switch.
The first World of Goo was released more than fifteen years ago, in October 2008. The project received high marks from the specialized press and ordinary gamers for its gameplay, visual component and musical accompaniment. The same studios that developed the first part - 2D Boy and Tomorrow Corporation - are working on the sequel.
