Information about upcoming changes may be announced at the WWDC 2024 event.
It has unofficially become known that in the new version Safari will be able to highlight the main points on the web pages being viewed and summarize information. There will also be the possibility of editing: for example, the “Eraser” option will make it possible to delete some areas on sites (for example, advertising banners).
Along with artificial intelligence functions, the browser will have an updated interface with a new “Page Controls” menu, which will simplify viewing settings using this function. According to the Apple Insider resource, the browser will have new options for scaling, controlling the privacy of user information, search, reading mode, extension shortcuts and web content block.
