Rumor: GTA 6 NPC animations will be created using AI
This was revealed by the former technical director of the Rockstar studio.
Obbe Vermeil, a former Rockstar employee, gave another interview and said that in the upcoming GTA, people's animations will not be created manually, but by means of artificial intelligence. Thanks to the use of this tool, the inhabitants of the virtual open world of the game will perform unique actions that other NPCs will not have. Vermeil emphasizes that this is still a rumor, but the variety of NPC movements could be seen in the excerpt with the beach from the first trailer.
GTA 6 is due out in the fall of 2025. Fans expect improved visuals, new gameplay mechanics and more realism of the environment from the project.
