The team of authors announced the suspension of the project's development.
The authors of Fallout: Vault 13, a remake of the first part on the Fallout 4 engine, announced the suspension of the project's production. Among the reasons given are fatigue, the departure of team members with specialized skills, as well as personal problems of some of the team. At the same time, replacing those who left also turned out to be difficult. At the same time, it is emphasized that the decision was not influenced by any internal conflicts among the developers or claims from the Bethesda studio. The authors promise to post all available materials and a playable build that they managed to make on Nexus Mods.
The Fallout: Vault 13 project was conceived as a rethinking of the very first part of the post-apocalyptic franchise. The team wanted to recreate the locations from the original, return the game mechanics and at the same time make the camera look from the first and third person. Last August, a demo version of the game was released.
