The creators of the fan remaster of GTA Vice City, created on the GTA 4 engine, have released another video. It shows gameplay and scenes from episodes of the plot, and the main innovation is full lighting in the interiors, which was not previously present in previous demonstrations.
The project is a global mod based on the RAGE engine. It intends to offer fans both content from the original and a large number of improvements. Among them are cut content, an updated city and weapons from the Definitive Edition, cars and models of heroes from the Xbox version, as well as radio, cutscenes and the interface from the original Vice City. In addition, the modders included neon design elements on buildings, inspired by Vice City Stories.
Previously, the Revolution Team planned to release the remaster in December, but now allows for a change in the release date to January 2025. Polishing of the game continues to make it as close as possible to the expectations of fans of the cult game.
