EngineAI Robot Becomes World's First Humanoid to Perform Frontal Flip
Zhongqing Robotics (EngineAI) has unveiled a revolutionary humanoid robot that has become the first in the world to perform a frontal somersault. This is a significant achievement in the field of commercial robotics, as no other company has managed to pull off such a feat before.

Unlike a backflip, which is easier from a mechanical point of view, a frontal somersault requires precise coordination of movements and significant effort, especially in the abdominal and hip areas.

The PM01 humanoid is equipped with five degrees of freedom in each arm and six in the legs, which provides high maneuverability. At 138 cm tall and weighing 40 kg, it is capable of developing a torque of up to 300 Nm, which allows it to perform complex movements with high precision.
