The upcoming Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone will support 120W charging. The information was confirmed in a post on the official Twitter account of the Chinese brand.
For the first time, HyperCharge technology was used in the Mi 10 Ultra, but the current flagship devices Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, released this year, only support the standard 67W charger. It is also worth noting that the predecessor of the future gadget, the Mi 10T Pro, supported only a 33-watt memory at all, so the upgrade will be very significant.
As for other features of the new products, the 11T in the regular and improved Pro versions will not receive significant differences from previous generations of devices in terms of design and will be available in three colors - white, dark gray and light blue. The older model will get a display with an AMOLED matrix and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 5000 mAh battery. The younger version will get another chip - from MediaTek.
The announcement of both models of the 11T line is due on September 15 during the global presentation of Xiaomi. The Mi Pad 5 tablet, which became available in China a month ago, should also be presented there for the global market.
At the end of May this year, the Chinese manufacturer introduced the public to a 200 W charger in conjunction with an improved version of the Mi 11 Pro, which has a 4000 mAh battery. Then the full charge of the battery took only 8 minutes, and 50% was reached after three minutes. After that, Xiaomi clarified that the charging technology reduces the battery capacity by 20% after 800 charge cycles with the recommended 40% for 400 cycles. The 200-watt charger could go into mass production as early as 2022.
