The network has leaked details about the novelties of the line of readers Kindle Paperwhite from Amazon. Information about gadgets appeared in several local online stores, including Canada and Mexico. Product pages have now been removed, but users were previously able to take screenshots of device specifications.
Apparently, the company will release two versions of the device - the standard Kindle Paperwhite and the improved one with the Signature Edition. Both configurations will get a 6.8" display with 300 PPI pixelation (the current version has a 6" display with an identical pixel density). The backlighting has also improved - earlier the readers were equipped with four LED elements, and the new products will use 17 LEDs. In addition, the option to adjust the color temperature will appear.
The regular version of the book will get 8 GB of storage, while the advanced version will get 32 GB. The Signature Edition will also have automatic sensor backlight adjustment and support for wireless charging. It is not known how much the appearance of the devices will change and whether they will upgrade the micro-USB connector to USB-C.
The cost of new products will be $149.99 and $209.99 for the standard and upgraded versions, respectively. The current generation of line readers, presented three years ago, currently costs $129.99, and the advanced Kindle Oasis will cost $249.99. It is likely that the announcement of new models may take place very soon.
