YouTube will be able to directly upload videos
Video hosting YouTube is testing a new feature for downloading videos without the help of third-party software. The owners of premium subscriptions were the first to get this opportunity. It is noted that the option works with a number of restrictions.

YouTube will be able to directly upload videos

Downloading video from the site will allow you to view content without the need for Internet access. You can activate it using the button located directly below the video. Then the video will be available in the "Downloads" folder.

The main feature of the function is that video viewing can be carried out exclusively in the browser, in the cache of which the content will probably be saved. You cannot download videos as separate files for playback through third-party players.

YouTube notes that the download function is still available to a limited number of users with a Premium subscription on Chrome, Opera and Microsoft Edge browsers. It is unknown when the download will become available to other users.
