YouTube is introducing a simplified video playback mode when switching from a mobile device to a PC. The 9to5Google portal drew attention to the appearance of the option.
Now, when switching from a gadget to iOS or Android to a personal computer, the user will be able to continue watching the video from the interrupted moment without having to go to the "Library" or "History" section. To do this, a mini-player will open for him in the lower left part of the screen. The option is also available for Android TV owners. At the moment, the functionality is working in beta test mode for a limited number of users with a premium hosting subscription.
