HUAWEI will be able to use the flagship Snapdragon 898 chipset in an exclusive version with an LTE module in its devices. Support for fourth-generation networks will be the only difference from the usual 898 "dragon".
The rest of the characteristics of the chip will remain the same. So, it will be built on the 4 ni process technology, it will acquire a productive Cortex X2 core (3 GHz), as well as three balanced Cortex X78 at 2.5 GHz and four energy-efficient Cortex A55 at 1.79 GHz.
The first device on board which the Snapdragon 898 will appear will be the Mate 50 smartphone. At the moment, the developers are testing the new platform. The announcement of the device will take place in the first quarter of 2022.
