Apple's AirTag device was originally conceived to help find missing items. Apple Releases AirTag Spyware App for Android

A program called Tracker Detect, owners of smartphones on Android will be able to scan the area for a beacon. When AirTag is near the user for more than ten minutes, the application emits a characteristic sound signal and sends a notification. After determining the location of the tracker, it will be possible to obtain its serial number, which will be useful when contacting the police.

To start the search, Tracker Detect must be activated manually, unlike the standard utility on iOS. Despite this, the functionality of the application will be useful for tracking third-party devices in the car or in personal belongings.
