SEGA is now on the rise, with a sequel to the Sonic film adaptation doing well in theaters around the world, and producers from Hollywood intend to make a film based on Streets of Rage. The company itself has serious plans for its titles.
Recently it became known that SEGA is working on a grand project called Super Game, which will include the creation of new major games, cloud gaming and NFT. There were few details regarding the project, but Bloomberg managed to find out that the players are waiting for the restart of such cult titles as Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio.
According to insiders, both games are still at the pre-production stage, so it's not a fact that they will come out at all. But if the production process goes according to plan, that the release may take place in 2024-25.
It is also rumored that SEGA intends to borrow the Fortnite business model. therefore it is possible that Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio will be distributed free-to-play with regular additions.
