Google will force app developers to be accountable to users

From the designated date, application developers are obliged to report in detail what data and why they will collect and save their games or programs. Also, the creators of the software will have to indicate whether the data is transferred to third parties, whether it is encrypted, and whether it is possible to delete it after a user request.

The list of data that will be affected by the updated policy will include location (approximate and exact), information about money transactions and finances (transaction history, credit rating, etc.), health information, messages, phone numbers from the address book, media files and documents , records of activities in applications (browser history, information about the performance and diagnostics of the smartphone, device identifiers).

A new item "Data security" in the description of games and programs will appear in the near future.
