Analysts from SellCell have shared an update on their research regarding the maintenance of the market value of smartphones from various manufacturers for two months. The work took into account the indicators of the flagship devices of Apple, Google and Samsung. The devices of the South Korean brand proved to be the worst of all.
Judging by the presented results, the price tag of Samsung devices decreased the most after 2 months after the release. - the total drop for the entire Galaxy S22 line in the secondary market was about 47% of the starting retail price tag. The smallest drop was shown by iPhone 13 devices - over the same period they fell in price by only 16%.
When looking at certain models, the top resale devices among manufacturers are the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, Pixel 6, and iPhone 13 Pro Max (all in 128GB versions)—drops of 41.7%, 33.1%, and 3.8% respectively ). The Galaxy S22+, Pixel 6 Pro (both in 128 GB versions) and iPhone 13 mini fell the most in price - their fall was 53.8%, 44.2% and 29.2%, respectively.
