Browser developers have begun testing a new feature that allows you to save links and files in virtual storage without having to download to physical media. The account owner will be able to access the contents of the vault from any device.
The tested option was named Drop, its functionality is similar to the "Favorites" folder in the Telegram messenger. It will be possible to use it through a special window on the sidebar of the interface, similar to the sections "Collection" and browser history
Files will be stored through OneDrive cloud storage, the amount of memory will be limited, unlike Telegram, where the user has unlimited storage. The Drop function can already be tried out in the Edge Canary 104 version, it is activated using the “Settings” – “Appearance” menu. Another innovation in future versions of the browser will be a built-in VPN.
