Scientists predict the formation of a supercontinent. They even came up with a name for it

Amazia is the name given to the future supercontinent by experts. It should form in about 200 million years.

A new united continent will be formed from North and South America with the participation of Eurasia. All the current continents are moving towards each other at a speed of 5 centimeters per year. Australia can also join them, which is moving towards Asia and moving faster than its opponents - 7 centimeters in one calendar month.



Experts predict that the supercontinent Amasia will form in 200-300 million years. Its center will be the North Pole, and the further division of the supercontinent into new continents will happen in another 200 million years.
