The power figures of Intel's top model Arc Alchemist line of graphics cards are comparable to the fairly budget NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, to say nothing of the comparison with the flagship GeForce RTX 4090. However, the Intel Arc A770 can compete in several scenarios even with the most powerful NVIDIA graphics card, which costs five times more.
The creator of the CapFrameX program used for PC tests compared the power of the Intel Arc A770, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 3090, and AMD's Radeon RX 6800 XT. The test consisted of encoding an 8K video using the AV1 codec. As a result, Intel Arc A770 showed itself sensationally best of all.
For testing, we chose the 8K video "Japan in 8K 60 fps" posted on YouTube. Only on a PC with an Intel graphics card did it manage to achieve a stable 60 fps. at 4K. After switching to 8K, the number of frames dropped to 59.9, which is slightly better than competing models. The Radeon RX 6800 XT didn't handle the task of encoding an 8K movie at all.
It should be noted that the vendor asks for $349 for the Intel Arc A770, while the cost of the GeForce RTX 4090 is $1599.
