The new computer chair from Volkswagen will give a ride with the breeze

The engineers of the famous automaker have developed a unique computer chair with an electric motor.



The chair is capable of accelerating up to 20 km/h. It will be set in motion with the help of two pedals traditional for cars. The battery of the chair has a power reserve of 12 km, which should be enough for driving around office premises.

A non-trivial vehicle is equipped with a rear-view camera with output to a touch screen located on the armrest. The chair also has proximity sensors that function 360 degrees and can warn of a possible collision. In addition, it has a parking assistance function.



Other notable features include speakers for listening to music and a horn for dispersing crowds of office colleagues. There are also headlights in the armrests, and the seat is equipped with heating.

The chair rides with the help of wheels with solid aluminum disks with a diameter of 4". To transport something heavy, a trailer can be connected using the attachment.

Unfortunately, Volkswagen will not put the chair into mass production, so it will not be possible to buy it.
