Previously, the function was demonstrated in Android 12, then added to Google Chrome. Material You changes the color scheme of the operating system depending on the shades of the desktop picture.
As in Chrome, dynamic styling is only available in builds of the Canary branch by activating the appropriate flag. When the function is enabled, the coloring of window elements, the status bar and other interface details will match the main color scheme of the wallpaper.
At the moment, Google is hard at work on improving Material You. Now you can observe some flaws: the crookedness of the location of the interface parts, the presence of internal names of the components of the operating system and other signs of pre-assembly. Material You is not yet available out of the box, even on the Canary branch, and it is not known when dynamic design will arrive in a stable form on Chrome OS. In stable builds, only the Google Play marketplace has an updated look.
