HUAWEI HiCar update will bring a useful feature for drivers
An analogue of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay from a Chinese company in a fresh update will receive visual and functional changes.
In visual terms, HUAWEI HiCar will receive adaptive light and dark themes for displaying the interface. The driver will be able to choose the most preferred option, and he will also be able to activate auto-adjustment depending on the time of dawn and sunset based on the location of the car.
A functional change will be the ability to instantly transfer the route in maps from a mobile device to a car display. The user will only have to shake the smartphone, and the desired address will be sent to HiCar. The demo video shows that it will be possible to do this from the location sent in the message - HiCar will route to it automatically. This function will save the driver from entering the address himself.
It is worth noting that it is still unknown whether these functions will be available outside the PRC and in foreign services.
