The Italian automaker at the Art Basel Miami Beach 2022 exhibition presented the all-wheel drive model Huracan Sterrato. It is designed for driving not only on ordinary paved roads, but also on real off-road. The sports car concept was presented back in 2019.
Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato received an improved version of the Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics (LDVI) system, which provides coordination of a complex vehicle dynamic performance management system. Also in the hypercar there are driving modes such as STRADA, SPORT and RALLY. The latter is just designed for driving on surfaces with poor grip.
The Huracan Sterrato is similar in appearance to the Huracan EVO. Of the differences, it is necessary to highlight the presence of additional headlights, roof rails and an air intake on the roof in the Huracan Sterrato. Also, the car has a 4.4 cm increase in ground clearance, and the width of the wheelbase has increased by 3 and 3.4 cm in front and rear, respectively.
The dimensions of the sports car are 452.5×195.6×124.8 cm, and the weight is 1470 kg. Under the hood, it has a 5.2-liter V10 engine with a capacity of 610 horses and a maximum torque of 560 Nm. From zero to hundreds of cars accelerates in 3.4 seconds, the maximum speed is 260 km/h. The Huracan Sterrato has carbon-ceramic brake pads with a diameter of 38 and 35.6 cm on the front and rear wheels, respectively. The pads have six pistons in the front and four in the back.
In total, the Italian automaker plans to produce 1499 units of this model. Serial production will begin in February next year. How much money you have to pay for an off-road sports car is still unknown.
