A series of devices called IronKey was presented as part of the CES 2023 event. The company spoke about their technical features.
The first device of the line was the Locker+ 50 flash drive. It has XTS-AES encryption and the function of creating backups to the cloud storage. The maximum volume is 128 GB, the read and write speeds are up to 145 and 115 MB/s, respectively.
The next drive, Keypad 200, looks like a Locker+ 50, but it has keys to unlock, so it does not require additional utilities to be downloaded to the computer. The device is FIPS 140-3 Level 3 Computer Security Certified. Read and write speeds are identical to Locker+ 50.
The third instance is the IronKey S1000 drive. It protects information with 256-bit XTS-AES hardware encryption. It also has a FIPS 140-2 certified integrated microchip that performs encryption without the participation of a personal computer. The maximum capacity of the flash drive is 128 GB, the read and write speeds are up to 230 and 240 MB/s, respectively.
The fourth device is the Vault Privacy 50 flash drive. It is intended for corporate use in business. Information protection in it is carried out by 256-bit AES hardware encryption (XTS-AES) and FIPS 197 hardware encryption. The device also has a blocking from BadUSB attacks. The drive has two versions: with a Type-C or USB-A port. The maximum read/write speed is 250/180 MB/s.
Finally, the fifth device presented was an external SSD called Vault Privacy 80ES. A feature of the model is the presence of a touch screen, with which the password is entered. The drive will be available in capacities up to 2TB. Data protection is provided by XTS-AES 256-bit FIPS 197-certified encryption. Other features of the device include support for three access levels with different password combinations, and it is also capable of deleting data if several incorrect passwords are entered. As a cipher, you can set not just a code, but also phrases and sentences with spaces. The data exchange rate is up to 250 MB/s.
The entire line of drives is already available for purchase in Russia.
