The famous first-person shooter has already been ported to all sorts of devices up to smartwatches. But one of the craftsmen went further and created a port of the game on a miniature gadget he created.
A blogger from the YouTube channel Ancient posted a video demonstrating his own invention. A hand-made device in the form of a ring with a small display received a self-written version of DOOM. The most difficult part was the development of the ring itself: the inventor broke the printed circuit board in a jewelry way so as not to damage it. Next, he placed the board in a round case.
The smart ring turned out to be too fragile; during the encapsulation process, the connection to the device was often interrupted. However, in general, the experiment was successful. In the future, the author intends to develop a new similar device, but with a more thoughtful layout of the board.
