The LG Household & Health Care consumer products division will debut at MWC 2023 with an original device. The gadget is a mini-printer for temporary tattoos. Even before the official presentation, it became known about a number of characteristics of the device.
The device was named Imprintu. It will be interfaced with a smartphone, through the application the owner will have to choose the picture he likes the most. The print resolution reaches 600 dpi, which is enough to apply a contrasting temporary image.
The company claims that printing is carried out using ink that is absolutely safe for humans and can last on the skin for a day. Also, the printer can apply patterns to the fabric. In the future, LG intends to expand the list of tattoo sketches, in which Exaone, an algorithm based on artificial intelligence, will help it.
Sales of the gadget should begin in the 2nd half of this year in South Korea and the United States. How much the printer itself and consumables will cost has not yet been announced.
