Google Pixel Watch received a feature available in the collection from Apple

Google has expanded the functionality of its smartwatches in a new update. We are talking about the ability to track the status of the media. The company promised to add this feature at the beginning of sales of the device, and it will still appear in the update.



The innovation will allow the watch to record the fall of the owner. Built-in sensors will allow the smartwatch to detect when the user has fallen. If the wearer is immobile for 30 seconds, the device will automatically contact emergency services for help with sending the location of the victim. If the user is fine, then he can cancel the call by pressing the "I'm fine" button on the watch display. In the event of a real injury, the user can press the "I fell and need help" button.

You can enable the feature by going to the settings after receiving a fresh software update. It is noted that Google conducted a series of tests of the feature to reduce the risk of false calls, since some sports involve falls, which can be recorded as emergencies.
